Empowering individuals to live as independently as possible while receiving the support they need in a positive and inclusive community.
At B.L.I.S.S. our aim is to provide a service that empowers individuals to build a future filled with hope, purpose, and opportunity.
B.L.I.S.S. Residential Care provides individuals with a safe and supportive home environment where they can receive assistance with their daily living needs. Trained staff are available to offer support with personal care, medication, meal preparation, household tasks, and overall wellbeing, ensuring that each person receives the level of care appropriate to their needs.
B.L.I.S.S. aims to promote dignity, independence, and quality of life while providing opportunities for social interaction, personal development, and community involvement. Through a person-centred approach, individuals are supported to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible within a caring and structured environment.
Funding for residential care is often provided through the local authority or the local Integrated Care Board (ICB), depending on an individual's assessed needs and eligibility. Referrals to residential care services are typically made through these organisations following a formal assessment process to ensure that the placement is suitable and meets the individual's support requirements.

What is Supported Living?
B.L.I.S.S. Support Services Supported living is a model of care that enables individuals to live in their own home while receiving the support they need to maintain their independence and achieve their personal goals. Unlike residential care, individuals in supported living usually have their own tenancy or housing agreement and have greater choice and control over how they live their lives. Support is tailored to each person's needs and may include assistance with daily living skills, managing finances, attending appointments, maintaining a home, accessing education or employment, and participating in community activities. The aim of supported living is to empower individuals to develop confidence, make their own decisions, and live as independently as possible while remaining safe and connected to their community.
